MILESTONES -- The April 27th P&G program was our 400th consecutive broadcast of Power & the Glory, which began in September of 2000. At the end of May, our 1,000th God & Country program will air. These weekday, faith-based spots began airing in August of 2004.
BIG DAY IN ENTERPRISE, AL -- Some 400 present and former members along with guests filled the auditorium of the College Avenue Church of Christ April 27th to observe that chuch's 100th anniversary. Former ministers Hoyt Newlson and George Merritt were back to bring messages and share memories, with former youth minister Metz Barnes leading the singing. Under the leadership of the church's elders and staff, the whole congregation worked to make this a momentus occasion in Enterprise, Alabama.

LOOKING AHEAD
The May 11th Power & the Glory program will feature a message titled "Sunshine for the Soul", based on the song "Sunshine in My Soul Today". Mothers will be saluted via the program's God & Country feature.
On May 18th, George Merritt will be speaking on "The Crowns of Christ". A number of the songs will blend with the "Crown" theme.
